Indore

Indore

On the 22nd of December I saw the last Ground Force car move out. Sitting at the window I had a view of everything going on, and at last I hear the engines on and the plane on the runway. The day had started with the usual screaming. Just around eight thirty my aunt and cousins came to pick my annoying sister and me up. At the airport the usual hustle bustle was there and finally managed to check-in. At security for the umpteenth time in my life I was stopped. I was always stopped for batteries in a toy or something else, but this time it was for something completely different. I was using my school bag for a travel bag and I forgot to remove my metal geometry kit. They let me go so we just made it to the flight.

We touched down in Indore on time and went straight to the baggage claim. We had checked in five bags but left with only four. We realised only at the car did we have one suitcase less so my aunt and me had to rush back in to get it. People might have thought we were criminals and hooligans running away, but I couldn't blame them. We then set of for the  estate and reached their at about one-ish.

At the gate I thought I had entered the White House. You might be thinking that it is white and is a house, but no. I'm judging it by its size and the fact that it had a huge ground and swimming pool with a theatre which was connected to a PS4 and that it had a lift in which I hid in a game of hide and seek making it the best place to camp out. We had lunch and then went on to look around the house. We found some more doors and then stept into the field. For the next four hours we played football basketball and Frisbee. We were called in and we had our snack. Playing on the PS4 is fun. Playing on the PS4 FIFA 15 with your favourite team is even better. We had a quiet dinner and then watched Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs. After we were pulled out of the theatre after some time, we had to sleep at 9:00!!!!

I woke up at five thirty and not expecting to find anyone. Although from the kitchen i could hear the song ' Kabhi Alvida Na Kahana' and realised my Nani was up and about getting milk ready. I went to open a door when a sort of siren started. Jumping back with fright i rushed up  my bed and on the steps I bumped into my sister Saanvi. As annoying as she always is she started blabbering about she had woken up and she hadn't even slept a wink. Soon the whole house was awake because of me. We first flew kites that day and saw a lot of peacocks. We then ate breakfast and got ready. We then piled into the car and we went to someplace called Mhow, where we visited a school built by one of our grandparents. The school was big and had just completed 50 years so there was a new science park and auditorium. We returned home hungry and sat down for lunch. After lunch my brother and I had a challenge of a set of five matches on the PS4, which all I won. We then played football outside when i saw my Mamaji carrying some sticks. He took one stick and something called a Gilli. We were going to play Gilli Danda. We tried and when it became dark and couldn't see no more we were called inside. We had some quiet time and then dinner. Post dinner we watched Wall-e and then went to sleep.

Next i was awoken by my mamiji saying that i had slept on the floor the entire night so i quietly went to bathroom to get ready so she dosen't  scream. By 9:00 the guests started coming in. We were hosting a party. We played games and taught people to play Gilli Danda. At one we were served lunch and then we went to play a tournament on the PS4. We then made teams and played football with the guests. This went on till the night until we had dinner beside the born fire. As it was Christmas Eve none of us slept silently waiting for morning.

Being given the garbage duty is bad enough. Being given the garbage duty on Christmas is worse. I got the game Scotland Yard, a model fire truck to make and a 2015 diary. I then started packing my bag as i was leaving today. We played Gilli Danda and PS4 for the last time then. I had just scored a goal when my Mamaji came in and said we were going for a ride. We went down to see the Mercedes at the porch. For the next fifteen minutes i ate air. I then had lunch then said Bye. My sister, my Mamaji and me then left for the Airport.

Getting back home i wrote this and i am waiting for some comments.:):):):)

My 11 birthday

My 11 birthday party

The stroke of twelve was when my first target had fallen. On that stroke of twelve  marked a new special day. That stroke of twelve turned from 8 to 9 November. That stroke of twelve marked as a  boy of eleven years. It was my birthday!!!
I had opened my birthday present just a few minutes revealing a new nerf gun. I had set my targets with the place value kit. Just as it fell my guitar was heard playing the tune of Happy Birthday to Me. I had just zipped my guitar back when my head touched the pillow and I instantly fell asleep. The next day I was awoken by my sister who was also shouting Happy Birthday to Me. It was her birthday to. We shared a birthday. Dang and blast and yeah and what a cool coincidence. You cannot say only dang and blast because executers may be watching over. We quickly cut a cake and got ready for the movie. We were going to watch Happy Birthday directed by Rohini Agrawal  ( actually it was Happy New Year by Farah Khan). After the movie was over we got ready for my birthday party. My team started pouring in when Saanvi's friends came and occupied the whole place. Again I can't say what the heck because executers may be watching over. It was a master chef party so obviously we cooked ( without the gas so make it made). First we had to make a mock tail. We mixed grape juice and what not and made something before the cow timer started mooing. The judges moved around (my bua and my tauji) tasting. The next round was a sandwich. We made a sandwich which was kinda cool because we named it monster sandwich. I looked like a monster and tasted like one. We then did my favourite THE MYSTERY BOX ( YOU ARE NOW GETTING SLEEPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE) just joking. We got fried noodles. The other teams got puffed rice, rice and . We made a Chinese bhel and one of the judges came up to us and whispered to us to make it spicy. We gave it and innovative name created by Raghav the great-zhongguoren ai chi. Crack it my friends. Last was dessert in which we made a muffin pav. It was a muffin with a hole in it to put ice cream and we did it. Leys get on. My team won the mystery box challenge. Now this is for the executers, I don't think that was a fair decision and what not. Now before taking an axe and bring down the door ( which is not a good idea because our door is just fixed and if you break it my mother is going to be madder than mad because you can't find carpenters these days) just let me finish. I played some shooting with my friends and then set good bye. As soon as I was coming up some guy covered my eyes. He took me up with my hands behind my back and my eyes closed. When he opened them I saw it was my brother but as a birthday gift for me from my cousins was a fish tank with two fish in it. I named them Artemis and Apollo as I was obsessed with Greek Gods.
So that's it people. I am finally eleven and you heard what happened on that day where my face was in the cake. He day I accidently spilled Hershey chocolate on my big sister and she was madder than mad. So if you want to share some experiences be sure to comment!

स्वच्छ भारत अभियान सप्ताह

                                      स्वच्छ भारत अभियान

As most citizens of India know that our prime minister Mr. Narendra Modi as told us to clean our country and start with our neighbourhoods and compounds. And as we were all called out on the road was the beginning of स्वच्छ भारत अभियान सप्ताह. We started with the street next to our school and we all got gloves.  The elder students got bigger brooms while we had scoopers and garbage bags to hold. We cleaned for about half an hour and for the first time we actually saw that there were tiles on the ground. By the time we were done the garbage back all most tore with the heavy contents and all the dust and trash were going to fall out. Returning to the class I drained my whole water bottle and my mind was all o this before miss Victor shouted at me in P.S.H.E complaining to focus and submit my sheet.

Daman

Daman
It was seven in the morning when I finally switched off my alarm clock. Gosh, I had overslept!! I peered in the passage way and saw that everyone was packing. Quietly I finished charging my camera and then moved on. By eight o'clock the car was out of the building. We first went to Goregaon to pick up my cousins. It was my big sisters eighteenth birthday and that is why we were going. We were going full speed on the expressways but were slowed in the cities. We finally reached our hotel, cidade de daman by one o'clock. We checked in and were settled around our bed, deciding if we should go swimming. Everyone except me were changing into their swim suits when I gave a brilliant suggestion. If we went now then we would get only fifteen minutes whereas after lunch we would get much more time and so everybody followed. At the lunch table we played cards and clicked pictures. After a heavy lunch we rested for a while and then jumped in the pool. After finding the same coin for two hours we came out. We washed up and then sat back in the car and went to the daman fort. Since everything was closed we just took a walk around. We went on an abandoned bridge and held up the sky. We came back all feeling nice and then went for some dinner. Luckily there was a domino pizza just outside and all had our share of pizza. In the night there was a live DJ going on and we danced ( I don't know what I was thinking ) we slept a nice night and were woken up by the sound of my sister screaming that we overslept.

We then trudged along the beach until we reached the end. When I looked at my feet they were worse than humus( the dead insect one and not one that we eat. It would be tasty). We then went parasailing  we went to find our car and buckled up because boy this was a mucky situation. After having a bath ( the bathroom was brown instead of white) we went to fort daman to see it for real. We first went to the church where the designs quite intricate and big. We then went for a walk around the neighbourhood and saw a library. Although the kids section was a mess we stayed for a couple of minutes and then left. We were walking back to the car when we saw a leaf as big as two of my faces combined. We then visited the art gallery in Silvassa which quite impressive. We then had lunch and went to a very weird museum. It was tribal museum where there was some tribal stuff. We went back to our hotel. We then went to a very crowded beach where we saw the evening sunset and waves. We then walked  to our hotel. My dad wanted to walk so we were going walk it back. It was so noisy i thought that i was back in Mumbai. My dad got fed up so he just walked back to get the car while we continued our way front. We then saw the hotel and were relived. On the way back  my dad got some subwich. We sat and ate a subwich each . we then ran down where we saw a magic show which was kinda lame. We then sat there and ordered our food. The DJ then cranked up the volume to high and soon the dance floor was full. After a weird dinner and drink( i had a drink called Mickey mouse) we went up when the music had stopped and played what we call gulam chor with cards. We then sat up late in the night and watched my brothers favourite serial- Comedy Nights With Kapil ( all the other channels were in gujrati. We stayed up till twelve and then finally simmered down.

The next day we stayed in the pool for about three hours then finally ate breakfast and played cricket. Sitting at the back of the car while everyone was yakking away I finally fell asleep.

Sri Lanka

It was 12 in the night. I was half asleep-half awake and trudged to my closet. After changing in my travel clothes I went to hail a taxi to take us to the international airport, to meet my cousins. We heard the trolley before we saw it. My cousin came hurtling at me and I jumped out just in time, and he hit a pole. We trudged to immigration and were on the flight.

Sri Lanka was hot and moist (perfect place for fungus to grow :)). After getting out and renting our fifteen seater van, we started towards Kandy. On the way, we visited the elephant orphanage. I was stunned at the idea of it, and was gaping in awe, but my mom rushed to the elephant feeding centre. Just for you to know, never step into the enclosure of a hungry elephant, he'll go completely nuts. After feeding him watermelons, bananas and oranges, we went to the bathing centre. We scrubbed the back of the elephants and I got hit on the head with the trunk. We came in at our hotel, dropped our bags and rushed out. We first saw the Buddha temple. It was huge you could have fitted in two cricket stadiums. In the temple, they say that there was a tooth of lord Buddha, and it's officially proven by Raghav Agrawal from the it is proven department.

The next day, we left for Bentota. On the way we stopped at the botanical garden which was huge. We were going to see the orchids as there were many types of them. There were about 50 types of orchids there. We moved around for a few hours and finally were  going to the camper. My dad challenged me to a race to the exit which 100 metres ahead. We took off. I was in the lead when I didn't notice a trees root and fell. Badly hurt  I limped to the camper with the help of my mom. We stopped for lunch at a weird place called woodlands. We continued and reached our hotel, The Bougain Villa. After dropping our bags we headed for the beach. After the beach we went to the dinner place, Golden Grill. After the food, since it was my mom's birthday we called for a pineapple surprise which was basically a pineapple cut in half with ice-cream on it. When they served it they put some alcohol on it and lit it on fire. It was cool. We headed home, and crashed.

The next day we woke up early to go to the beach, catching two auto's. We had loads of fun on the beach and went back, and seeing the breakfast table, my stomach did flips. We started our journey to the Galle fort and on the way stopped at the turtle conservation. Over there we saw many endangered species like the Olive Riddley. These people buy the  turtle eggs from fishermen and keep them for until they are two days old. They kept handicapped turtles too. We continued our way to Galle. It was basically a whole city. There was a cricket stadium where Mahilla Jawardaneye had made his highest score ever. It was a fort from the Dutch period  and inside it was a new city. We walked for a few hours and then settled down to eat lunch. We then walked around the place and had some homemade ice-cream and shopped for a while. We bought post cards and wrote on them. It's always my mom's crazy idea about sending postcards home. We went to the post office which was dingy and pushed our postcards in the box. We started for the hotel but on the way my mom insisted on stopping to watch the sunset. We stopped and took a route to the beach. We watched the sea for twenty minutes and trudged back to our camper. But then we saw something that I would never have done in my life. There were tall coconut trees. One tree was tied to the other by a string. Then on that string a man was walking, from one tree to another. I didn't know that was possible. But I knew I had lost 20 Sri Lankan rupees. I had bet that the strings were not for walking. After grabbing our seats we drove for the temple. The Buddha was huge. That's all I can say. You could see it from a mile away. Then we went for dinner. We were going to a very famous restaurant called Bentota Lake. We ordered and waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. And finally got angry. We went to the kitchen to find that no one was cooking. We were so angry that we sat in our camper all grumpy as we were very hungry. But our spirits were lifted when we stopped at Golden Grill. We ate like a pack of wolves. Finally we reached home and crashed.

The next day was again started the day with the beach. After having fun for three hours, it was time to leave for Colombo. We left and on the way we played Antakshri on the journey. We came in only to be greeted by the noise. After 3 days of peace, we had to be welcomed like a Mumbaikar. But the holiday was not over. We first started our search for a restaurant. We searched. First place . No. second place . No. third place . No. like this we went around and around. My dad joked " in search of food you find the whole city." We saw the ground, the trains, on the beach and much more. Finally we found a good 5 star hotel coffee shop that served us some vegetarian food in its pastry shop. We ate like there was no tomorrow. Finally, after a the long drive we went to our hotel to freshen up.

Sitting back in our camper we split. The moms would go do some shopping and the dad would come with us. We first went to the museum. Outside the museum there we two men with really big remote control cars. They were racing them and they were going so fast that all you could see was a cloud of dust. We went into the museum and I actually had fun. We were going out when my dad insisted to talk to some Chinese woman in mandarin and so I did. We then caught an auto to the lake and grabbed our boats. We were finishing our round when the propellers of our boat got stuck and didn't budge. We got our boat and went to the docks to call for help. After pushing we finally got it harnessed to the man's motor boat. We all had some ice cream and coke and caught some more autos and went to Galle face park. Over there we saw many kites. We bought one and flew it. The winds were good and it was the first time I had flown one. We then sat then, watching the sea. We had to then leave for dinner. We found a very nice Indian place and were welcomed straight away by the smell of dosa's. We wolfed the dinner like a pack of hungry wolves. When we reached the hotel we immediately crashed.

The next day I was awoken with my uncle looming over me already with his swimming gear on. I quickly put on my swimming gear and was in the pool within minutes. After having a hearty breakfast we were going to say bye-bye to Sri Lanka. We drove to the airport and with nothing to declare we sat in the plane.

I was greeted back in Mumbai with the usual noise and pollution. When we reached home I sat down and ta-da. I wrote the thing that you have just read.

Elipsis

We went to one of the coolest restaurants in Mumbai and I want to share my experience with you. Let me start by saying that I have no words saying how the presentation of the food was. It was an experience like in a master chef tasting room.

We first called for starters which on the menu  looked like a good idea. They change the menu everyday and each kind dish had a different name and different contents. They had typed it very close to each other and with the dim lights I could not make out a word and left the ordering to my mom. I thought the menu should be spaced out.

We called for flatbread which was a crisp bread with mushroom truffle and arugula leaves. We also called for spinach & arugula salad and as the name suggests it is filled with spinach, arugula leaves and some big blobs of goat cheese with candied nuts. We called for cauliflower soup and they served it in a UFO looking plate. The presentation  was astounding.

For the main course we called gnocchi in broccoli, Parmesan and ceremele sauce. Gnocchi was something we had heard only on Master chef. It was nice to taste it.  We also had popcorn grits. Now, can you imagine having popcorn for dinner! I called for it but didn't like it so much.

Last , we called for the dessert Rocky Roads. It had chocolate balls, peanut  ice cream, caramel sauce and a bed of marshmallows. The marshmallows were at the bottom followed by the ice cream and caramel sauce. Then came the chocolate balls which were dipped in nitrogen gas which made it impossible to brake but when you put it in your mouth, it melts.

My experience at Elipsis was great, if you go then leave a comment  on how you liked it.
