Elections (new version)

Elections are when the people of the country choose their leaders as India is a democratic republic. Different people with same ideologies come together to form a party. People  representing parties stand in the elections and then get elected to Lok Sabha and the leader of the winning party becomes  the Prime Minister. The elections take place every five years in India .
People from different parties or individuals stand from  a constituency so you go and vote for that person, but in the end the leader of the winning party become's the  prime minister. The prime minister then chooses some ministers to join him in his cabinet of ministers. The prime minister gets to govern over the country for five years.
The Election Commission of India conduct the elections all over the country and check for fair and just means to be used by the candidates. Electronics voting machines are used on which the party's name is written with the logo and a blue button next to it. You have press the button to elect that leader. From September 27, 2013 they installed a button called None of the Above (NOTA) button which means you don't want to elect anybody  but you want to go vote . So you press that button but you don't elect anybody. Once you have voted the person on duty will use a special ink and make a mark on one of your fingers and this means that you've voted and you can't vote anywhere else. If you try, you'll get sent to prison. The teachers of government run school and colleges are made to do election duty and make sure there will be fair elections. In year 2009, the elections involved an electorate of 714 million.
There are many different parties such as Congress, Bharatia Janta party (BJP), Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), ShivSena, Samajwadi Party,Bahujan Samaj Party. Some are the national parties which have a country wide presence and others are regional parties which work more in a particular state. The National parties then take help of regional parties to contest the election. For example, BJP is the national party but Shiv Sena is the regional party helping them with elections in Maharashtra. If there is a candidate standing from shiv Sena in a particular 3constituency, there will be nobody from BJP there. Shiv Sena and BJP are allies.
Different parties have different logos like for congress there’s the hand, BJP the lotus, the AAP the broom and many more. The elections are fun but can sometimes be dangerous. Elections can be dangerous when the people from parties come and hit, burn houses and do other not nice stuff to people who didn’t vote for that party and the men who do this get money in return. Candidates bribe people by giving them money, food , clothes etc. to go and vote for that party.
Elections are a fundamental duty of the Indian Citizen. Every citizen above the age of 18 has to fulfill his duty towards the country by going and  voting.

It used to be a calculator,

But now it's used for everything!

Although the keyboard ain't straight

Don't stay up the entrie night in haste

Trying to straighten the order of the letter

I am telling you, its a waste.

The CPU is attached to the computer,

To give it life,

save the Earth

Save the Earth
                              Raghav Agrawal

MUMBAI: Earth day is celebrated on 22 April. From San Francisco to San Juan, Beijing to Brussels, Moscow to Marrakesh, people plant trees, clean up their communities, contact their elected officials, and more—all on behalf of the environment. It is a festival which is celebrated around the world in 192 different countries. The first Earth day was celebrated in 1970. In 1969 UNESCO Conference in San Francisco, peace activist John McConnell proposed a day to honor the Earth and the concept of peace, to first be celebrated on March 21, 1970, the first day of spring in the northern hemisphere.  But a month later, Gaylord Nelson, U.S. Senator from Wisconsin, proposed April 22 as the date. Earth day will celebrate its 44 anniversary in the year 2014. Earth Hour is a worldwide movement for the planet organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). The event is held worldwide annually encouraging individuals, communities, households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights for one hour, from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. on the last Saturday in March, as a symbol for their commitment to the planet. People all around the world are picking up the garbage in their neighborhoods. Everybody around the world are planting trees to save the earth. In many countries people are barricading the roads and cars are not allowed to run and instead they are cycling or running to their places of work. People are going to individual houses and collecting their garbage and disposing it themselves.  In some countries they are not allowing cars with an odd number as the last number on the plate to run on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and the opposite for the even numbers. People are recycling everything possible to keep the Earth clean. Their motto is “Reduce, reuse, recycle.” In Indonesia they have a parade where they push an inflated earth around the city and if anyone wants to push the cart, they can happily push. Everyone should use a cycle to go to work and should save electricity by switching off lights, fans etc.  last  year in school the round square made paintigs and posters to tell people about Earth day and aware them the various things one could do to save our Earth.  This year they  made a huge poster dangling from the first floor which said “Save the Earth, Make it a better place. Their motto is, “Clean Earth, green Earth.” What can you do for a better planet?

LETS BUILD UP

The Second Movie I Saw

The Lego movie is an enriching experience to all Lego fans. It is an animated plus reality movie. The movie is about lord business who steals the Kragle (glue, but big in the Lego world) and plans to spray it on the city because many of the master builders are breaking his creations and making new ones. To ordinary people he is just president business and is a friendly guy. So, the master builders in order to save the city have to stop him. They have to take the piece of resistance (the cap of the glue) and attach it to the glue. But the problem is they can’t find the piece. But an ordinary construction worker, Emmet, falls in to a hole and touches the piece and it gets stuck to him. The cops who work for the lord take him and tried to take the piece away from him but Wlydstyle, a master builder comes to rescue. At first she respects him and helps him get away but she didn’t realize that he wasn’t even a master builder! She takes him to Vitruvius an old master builder and together they go on a mission to stop the lord. The first go to cloudy land to gather more master builders. They are caught unawares by lord business cops and most of the master builders are taken away to the lord’s tower. Only a few survive that were Vitruvius, Emmet , Wlydstyle, Batman and a pony. They leave in a submarine but that was also hit by one of the cops. Thanks to Emmet’s idea they survived in a useless creation, a double Decker sofa. They used over 3,863,484 unique bricks for this spectacular movie. The movie is well directed and has its own humor and never goes down. The directors Phil lord and Christopher miller have done a spectacular job to direct this film. Both youngsters and elders will really love this film.

He also notices that his minions are getting less and finds out el macho has taken them. He falls in love with agent wildie one of the agents from the AVL but is too scared to ask her to marry him. In the end el macho is defeated and both of them are married. The movie has its own jokes  and both adults and children will enjoy it. It is middle-paced and well directed.

THE BOOK I READ

The series of books that I am reading is the Percy Jackson series followed by the Heroes Of Olympus by the same author RICK RIORDIAN who is the best-selling author famous for the KANE CHRONICLES, THE 39 CLUES etc. Anyway, the books mentioned in the two series are:
PERCY JACKSON AND THE LIGHTNING THIEF
PERCY JACKSON AND THE SEA OF MONSTERS
PERCY JACKSON AND THE TITANS CURSE
PERCY JACKSON AND THE BATTLE OF THE LABRYNITH
PERCY JACKSON AND THE LAST OLYMPIAN

HEROES OF OLYMPUS:THE LOST HERO
HEROES OF OLYMPUS:SON OF NEPTUNE
HEROES OF OLYMPUS:THE MARK OF ATHENA
HEROES OF OLYMPUS:THE HOUSE OF HADES

Well the series is about this boy named Percy Jackson going on quests with his friends. He realises he is a DEMIGOD (WHICH MEANS HALF MORTAL HALF GOD)and his dad is POSIEDEN the god of the sea so Percy can breathe normally and talk to horses as his dads sacred animal is the horse. The 7 Olympian major Greek guy gods are :
GOD
SPHERE OF CONTROL
SACRED SYMBOL,ANIMAL
ZEUS
SKY
EAGLE,LIGHTNING BOLT
HADES
UNDERWORLD
HELM OF DARKNESS
POSIEDEN
SEA,EARTHQUAKES
HORSE, TRIDENT
ARES
WAR
BOAR, BLOODY SPEAR

GRAPES,LEOPARD

COW,PEACOCK
ATHENA
WISDOM,CRAFT,WAR
OWL
APHRODITE
LOVE
DOVE, HEART
ARTEMIS
MAIDEN GIRLS,ARCHERY
BEAR
HESTIA
HEARTH
CRANE,HEARTH
The book is well written and middle-paced. Its serious sometimes, sometimes funny and most of all: Knowledgeable. I mean I didn't know about Greek  gods before I read the series. But my opinion to the author  is that the heroes of Olympus series, each book was five hundred pages long and he should make the story a little more concise. Other than that the books were mind blowing

So this is the series I just read and I waiting for only the last book: The house of Hades

SLEEPOVER AT SCHOOL!!

SLEEPOVER AT SCHOOL!!

The coolest part of the weekend was the sleepover at SCHOOL!!Can you imagine?!Well it started when DAD dropped me to school and I went to the classroom to put my bag and ten trudged to the auditorium. ALL the fourth standards were there. First we were divided into SIX TEAMS. I was put in TEAM 1 and later on we had to change our name TEAM 1 to something else. We called our team 'THE INVINCIBLES'. The other TEAMs names were SKULL CANDY, DAIS CHAMPS, EXTREME ELEVEN, TERRIFIC TEN and THE UNTAMEABLES (actually they were the quietest team). Well, then MR.LEANDER PAES and DR.VESE PAES came to our school and talked about their childhood, sports and fitness. Soon after that they taught us running techniques and also had lunch with us. after that they split us SIX TEAMS into 3 TEAMS and said that 1 set will do tent pitching with CAWAS SIR and the other would to rope knots with HARI SIR. We were doing rope knots HARI SIR first. We learnt how to tie a reef knot, bowline, draw, hitch clove, hitch and simple knot. Next we went to the auditorium to do tent pitching. We first had to choose a captain and we chose IRA a girl in my class to be captain. The teachers there showed us how to pitch a tent and then asked us to pitch it ourselves. While one team was conferring with the teachers IRA told us our plan. We divided us into three groups and each one would something different. At last we gave are made and packed tent to the teachers. After 5 MINUTES we got our results and we stood FIRST overall all SIX TEAMS with a remarkable score of 13:00 minutes!!Soon after that we had a snack break. Now comes the highlight of the sleepover------THE TREASURE HUNT-----------! All SIX TEAMS were given a paper to right clues and were told to be back in 30 minutes. We searched but no luck :( and hopefully nobody found all ten clues :). We assembled in the auditorium (audi) and had a music\dance everything combined. Our team chose to sing LUNGI DANCE where three were dancing, seven were singing and 1 was playing the CONGO. The second highlight-----------THE CAMPFIRE----------- where we played ANTAKSHRI. We returned to our room and while the other classes slept we stayed up till 12:00.  When it was twelve all of us got out of our sleeping bags and started doing GANGAM STYLE since our teacher had gone out. Finally I went to sleep and it was like everybody had done what I had said.

THE NIGHT CONTINUES AND THE NEXT DAY ARRIVED

We woke up 6:30 and did yoga. Then we played cricket and finally a brick rely race as a tie-breaker round. We had to step on a brick take the other and continue till the finish line where another person is waiting, you hand the bricks to them and they take off on the bricks.
Finally we got the overall results and we came third!!!! I collected my things and sat in the dispersal line with my friends.
