Hillary Clinton: ..........

Hillary Clinton
Hillary Clinton, wife of former US president Bill Clinton, is currently the presidential candidate for the Democratic Party. She is up against the ever cheeky and thick skinned republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. Both of them are running for president and on the 8th of   the fate of America will be decided. Is Hillary Clinton worthy of being the next president of America?
Here are some reasons why she should be president.
1.
Hillary Clinton would get the best of advice and guidance from her husband who is a former president of America. She would get a lot of support.
2.
She knows what she is talking about and does not make many false promises.
3.
She will do very sane and believable things in her term unlike her rival who is doing some crazy things.
4.
S  She is fighting for very common problems such as education for all and women empowerment. Donald, come man, you can’t be serious about that wall.
5.
S   She knows how to conduct herself in a debate and not interrupt a person while he/she is speaking, therefore peace relations with other countries can be maintained.

However her scandals with her emails are a very bad example. She was getting both her work emails and personal emails to one account when he was secretary of state from 2008-12. She was also working on her personal server in her home in New York which had been setup for her husband. She received 62,000 emails which she concluded were half business. This can show how careless she can be and for her personal benefit be lazy. When she took office she was given a blackberry phone which couldn’t manage two accounts therefore merging both of them. She didn’t wish to carry two blackberries and for pure ‘convenience’ she did this. So she was now allowed to choose which emails she could pass onto the government and which she could not. This could have proven a fatal attack on some secret plans of the government.  Also as she was using a personal network and not the governments it would be much easier to hack and steal these confidential emails. This tells us that she can’t be fully trusted with such a big responsibility.
\
In conclusion I can say that I don’t like both of these candidates. They both have no idea what they are doing and are not fir to run such a big country. This world truly does need more sensible people who are willing to take on this post. But since it has to be one of them I would choose Hillary Clinton as she is still much saner then M. Donald Duck.

Donald Trump: the man America doesn't deserve

Donald Trump: the man America doesn't deserve

Donald Trump is currently the republican presidential candidate and is up against Hillary Clinton, wife of former president Bill Clinton and democratic presidential candidate.  Trump's supporters (hopefully none by November) say he is the man America needs but is he? (Really? Are you kidding me. But since this is a formal letter lets use big words.) This statement is questionable. (there you go)

Donald Trump is a millionaire and the founder of many un-successful business which you will later read about. But in all seriousness here is a list of reasons why Donald Trump should not be president-

1.     His supporters says he will be able to handle the country's wealth properly because he is a successful businessman. I sorry what? Have they looked at his 'successful' business which more than 3/4 have crashed?
·
Trump Universities ( he needs to attend this place as he has no good words to use in a debate. No kidding. Just see one.)

·
Trump  Airlines ( their shares crash landed)

·
Trump Ice ( I'm like whaaaaat? Something like that exists!)

2.    His supporters say he is a man of his word. Yeah? Then explain this. He wants to build a wall around Mexico. He also says that he is going to make Mexico pay for it. A bit too much isn't it? But that is not the point he initially said it would cost around 4 billion dollars and would be made of cement and by 9 metres high. Through his debates he increased that same number to 26 billion dollars.

3.    He doesn't respect different religions and wills to remove all Muslims from America. He doesn't understand diversities. This will be a problem if he becomes president as he must communicate with other world leaders who will all be from different religions.

4.    He doesn't know how to conduct himself in a debate and doesn't respect the other candidates. His debate issue will again be bad for the world leaders situation. He had no etiquette to debate against candidates. An example of this is when he called Hillary Clinton names and a 'puppet of her people'.

5.    He never has any clear points in his debates. He gives his ideas in vague descriptions and never gives the full picture or what he is going to do.

There. I have stated the facts after full research and put it in the right words (which Donald Trump doesn't have) and gave full description of my points (which he doesn't seem to do)

I think America knows that this man is not capable of anything. So why are they silent? India wants to know! (#Arnav Goswami). In a recent poll conducted, people were asked who would they prefer as president? Donald Trump or Barack Obama? 51% chose Obama and 44% chose Trump, 7% undecided. Obama won but only 7% away from Trump! What the hell is going on!(#terminator #Arnold Schwarzenegger)
So I have one request to America. This November make the right choice when going to the polls.

Donald Trump's failure is as much a secret as his plan to abolish the ISIS. He is a source of cheap comedy. Instead of listening to his speeches, go to a club with a good comedian. He doesn't care about globalism and only Americanism.

I am not sure about people but animals surely do. The bald eagle, the national bird of America attacked him! This is a sign that says America truly hates him!
Not sure if this is real but he actually did get attacked

In the words of America's First Lady Michelle Obama,

"America doesn't need to be made great again. It already is."

The daily blog of a tourist visiting the USA: Denver, Colorado

The daily blog of a tourist visiting the USA: Denver, Colorado
Sailing
After our visit to Alaska, we headed back to Denver where my uncle and aunt stay. We arrived over the weekend and the next week was going to be epic.

That week I was going sailing. Yeah that is right. Sailing. You must be imagining me, Raghav Agrawal Of class 7B, trying to sail a boat. Please. I know you are going to fall off your chair and start rolling on the floor in laughter but please for the sake of your electronic device, please remove that
and then start laughing.

So yeah. Monday morning and I had to wake up early. I have heard this line before. I wonder where?

So we ate breakfast and headed out of the door towards the car but we never made it. Why, you may ask. Well because it was locked. Obviously.

We first had to drop off the little kids to some Minions survival camp. After dropping them in we started our journey to the Vaughan Way Dam road. Hey, I remember the name.

We were having the class with the people at  Community Sailing of Colorado. We had to get registered and then all the kids in our Beginner batch had to sit down and introduce themselves. Everybody had to say their name, the name of the school they go to and their least favourite vegetable. I didn't know what to say. I crossed my fingers hoping I wouldn't have to go first and then our instructor, Gary, pointed his finger and said the word I dreaded. "You". And in my mind I am like "Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo <funny hand movements>.

He didn't point at me.

While we went through all the other 16 kids names, I was thinking on what I should call myself. But my thinking cut short because it was my turn. I said the first thing that came to my mind.

Bob.

I said it. And then I changed back to Raghav and then India. But I realised that nobody would be able to get my name so I just told them to call me Bob. And they did.

So for the next four days I was sailing in a no swimming lake. We learnt how to capsize and that was the highlight of the class. We turtled a few times and we had to pull the boat from the centre board with all our strength. A turtle was when the sail went down completely, a 180' turn. Then you had to stand on the hull and pull. We learned points of sail and we played 500 and Quidditch. 500 was when they dropped tennis balls and water noodles into the water and you had to sail around and grab those things. The items would worth different points and you had to earn them for your team. Sometimes you would get a mystery box or a would be allowed to capsize!

Qudditch was like the original Harry Potter one. We had to collect the noodles and balls for points and there was even a snitch.

On the last day of our class, we had something called the Sailing Olympics. We were divided into teams where we decided our own team name and chant. There were series of events like silent ninja docking game where you had to silently dock and grab a noodle from the table in the middle of the deck before a blindfolded instructor hears and catches you. There was even a rigging and de rigging race and a sandcastle building contest. Our team came last but that was okay because we actually won the sailing contests and not the other ones. I had a lot of fun and encourage people to try this sport.

The daily blog of a tourist visiting the USA: Day 9 Victoria, Canada

The daily blog of a tourist visiting the USA: Day 9 Victoria, Canada
Today we were heading back to Seattle but on the way we were going to stop at Victoria in Canada. So exciting. Visiting 2 countries in the course of one month. Never done that before.
We had the day from 7 to 2 because we were going to dock in Victoria in the afternoon. We had an exciting section of BINGO and lucky draw from the raffle tickets accumulated throughout the cruise. The winner takes home two fully paid tickets for a cruise in the Mediterranean. We didn't win but we were close to winning the BINGO. Like this we spent our day doing the things they had to offer. And then finally in the afternoon we disembarked for our last shore excursion in the beautiful Victoria, Canada.

We saw some mountains in the distance and our driver guide told us that those belonged to Washington State. Holy Cow! We were that close to USA, it was a swim away. Actually Seattle was 4 hours away by car but still. So close.

We first were going to the Butchart Gardens. They were pretty far away and took us 2 hours to get there. The Butchart Gardens were absolutely beautiful and had many different gardens with different types of flowers. It was started by Jeannie Butchart  in 1904 and it has been in bloom since then. Her husband was Robert Butchart and was the owner of a cement factory. They had a huge land where they quarried their limestone. But soon Jeannie felt like they needed more and then took an interest in flowers. She wanted to have a garden but Robert didn't approve of that idea. But she said she would do it herself and actually did it. She dug her holes and started making her garden. But soon this garden started to expand. She converted limestone quarries to flower beds and soon she had a huge garden with flowers imported from all around the world. Many people came to visit and the always tea and left, as a sign of hospitality. Once the Queen of England was going to visit this garden but the road that led here wasn't quite good. So Jeannie had Robert pave the road!

When we got to the garden we were given a strict time limit. We visited the many garden with their different atmospheres and themes. They were really beautiful and their effort was  commendable. The flowers were well kept and there were even figures made of moss!

After visiting the gardens we climbed back on the bus and we were taken to Victoria downtown. We passed many buildings like The Empress Hotel and the Parliament Building. In Chinatown there was a small road which was only 3 feet wide!

Narrow  Street

After exploring Victoria and taking a lot of pictures we were taken to our ship. We had dinner and dad took me out for tiramisu. Get it? Out for? No. Okay.

And that was it. Our cruise was over. The next morning we disembarked for the last time and caught the plane home to Denver.

The daily blog of a tourist visiting the USA: Day 8 Cruise to Alaska

The daily blog of a tourist visiting the USA: Day 8 Cruise to Alaska
Zoom into the picture and look for seals on the ice

Today we were returning to Seattle and our tour of Alaska was complete. However we were going to have one more day of visiting another place before returning to Seattle. We had the day free and we relaxed. In the afternoon our captain took us to see a brilliant glacier called the Endicott Glacier. Since everyone was crowding up in the front, the captain decided he would take this huge cruise ship in the narrow pass in a 360 so everyone could see. So I camped out at the back and when he positioned it correctly, I was ready with my camera, snapping pictures frantically. I even saw some seals on a piece of ice.

In the evening I had some time and I explored the ship more and got some pictures of the different places. That night we watched the comedy magic (aka momedy) of Jean Pierre. He was really funny and his magic tricks were pretty cool. After the show you could stay and he would teach you some magic tricks that were very simple. I really like that guy. I got a chance to take a picture of our awesome bedroom it had two beds and then those two opened up to be four. There was a train compartment type of bed on which I slept. We then had to sleep early because we had another day of sightseeing tomorrow.

The daily blog of a tourist visiting the USA: Day 7 Skagway, Alaska

The daily blog of a tourist visiting the USA: Day 7 Skagway, Alaska
Our final port of call in Alaska was Skagway and today was a long day from 7 to 5. We were driven by our driver to the train station where we were dropped off, train tickets in hand. We took our seats on the train and after some time you heard the toot-toot and we chugged down the winding road up the mountain. We started at elevation 0ft and we in the course of three hours climbed up to 2,865 ft. The train followed this rail which was called the White Pass and Yukon Route and was called Railway of the world.

This railroad was built because of the Klondike gold rush. This was the gold rush that started when gold was first found in Alaska. Captain William Moore was one of the first to find gold over here and was hired by a Canadian survey party headed by William Ogilvie who was commissioned to map the 141 st prime meridian because the known route, Chilkoot Pass, was rough and rugged so they decided to take a different path. Their path was called the White Pass after the Canadian Minister of Interior, Sir Thomas White.  And when the gold rush started people used this white pass more than the Chilkoot Pass because it was simpler to carry all their belongings on this pass. And we were now on a train on this pass which has been in use since the early 1900's.

On our journey to Fraser, Canada we saw a lot of trees and waterfalls and passed different points. Once the train stopped  to let some passengers of who wished to hike up the mountain. After two and a half hours we crossed the US and Canada border. When we entered Canada and  the landscape changed. The same mountains had now snow peaks. We then finally stopped and disembarked the train. Our bus driver had driven from Skagway here to pick us up. He then took us to the suspension bridge in Yukon.

The suspension bridge was built over a river and you might have guessed- it was suspended and attached only on the two sides. On the other side there were some informative places where we spent some time. We had some time so we visited the gift shop where we saw a toy train on a track on the wall going around. Since we had to get back to our ship, we climbed onto the     bus which would take us back to Skagway.

We were one of the first buses out so on the way we stopped at different places for a photo stop. We stopped at the border of the US and Canada and I literally jumped between the two countries. It was fun.

We got back to our ship by three and we had 2 hours before the ship left. After it left we started back towards Seattle.

The daily blog of a tourist visiting the USA: Day 6 Juneau, Alaska

The daily blog of a tourist visiting the USA: Day 6

Today we docked at Juneau, the capital city of Alaska. It was very chilly from the time we arrived and we went directly on the bus. We were going whale watching with a company called Allen Marine. The Allen Marine Company was operated by the Allen family for a very long time and they even made their own boats. The boats were very cool with three decks. It was freezing cold and very hard to take a picture in that crowded place. We were the first boat out on the water and so we would have a good chance of seeing some whales and score we saw an orca or killer whale. The killer whale was renamed ‘orca’ because people didn’t like using the word killer as a name for an animal. The killer name is on top of the food chain but just under man.

After some time we reached a place where there were many harbour seals and they were making such a horrible noise. But then we saw it. The whale we were looking for. The Humpback Whale. It even wheezed and there was some mist. So awesome. We even saw another pair of whales. A mother and son. The guys called her Flare because of some kind of sign on her tail. After some more watching of glaciers we re-docked at the port where we were picked and taken to the Mendenhall
Glacier.

The glacier looked amazing and there was even a waterfall. We first went to a visitor centre and then we hiked down to the lake and touched the refreshing water. There wasn’t much to see and we were picked up by 12:45 and we went directly to our boat.

The daily blog of a tourist visiting the USA: Day 5 Ketchikan, Alaska

The daily blog of a tourist visiting the USA: Day 5

Today we docked at Ketchikan, the third largest city in Alaska and the salmon capital of the world. We arrived there by 7 am and we were ready, standing at gangplank just as it was going to touch the ground. We were greeted by a plaque which said we had officially entered Ketchikan. We met our driver guide who sowed us the way to the local lumberjack show. It was just across the street and since we were early we got some time in the souvenir shop. Over there I so many plaques with funny stuff written on it like:

·         If idiots could fly, this place would be an airport

·         Forget the dog. Beware of the owner!

·         I say we fish five days and work two

·         Hand over the chocolate and nobody gets hurt!

·         No trespassing! Violators will be shot. Survivors will be shot again.

·         My windows are not dirty. That’s just my dog’s nose art.

And many more!

And then finally we were allowed to go inside the arena. There were large stands for the fans to sit and to kill time they got some spectators to throw axes on a dartboard. The lumberjack show was made to teach people what a lumberjack had to do and what weapons he would have to use. So they were having a competition between some Canadian lumberjacks and American ones with a series of events that determine who were better lumberjacks. The Spruce Mill camp housed the Americans while the Dawson Creek camp housed the Canadians. Every test needed a different skill. Some of the tests were climbing up trees while others were climbing branches and chopping down trees. Some were where they had to jump on logs on water and the final one was where one from each team would be balancing on the same log and couldn’t touch each other. In the end it was Canada who won.

After the show we were taken on a coach to the Tlinkit tribe house. They were one of the fist tribes in Alaska. There were many groups like the bears and frogs but ultimately they fell into two groups: The Ravens and The Eagles. We were introduced to this whole tribe with a presentation on it. We learnt to say some words in their language. The tribe still exists. They totem poles and each totem pole had some significance to the tribe or an ancient tribal story. We were then taken to a Tlinkit house where there was a performance by members of the tribe. They wore capes and on the back of the capes there was a picture of the tribe they were a part of. They sang songs and danced for us and in the end we were asked to join them on stage and I went. We had Tlinkit Dancing 101 and the then we actually danced with the others. This all took place in one of their houses.

After that we were shown how a totem pole was made and what materials and tools were used. To put up a totem pole they had to dig a hole in which they would then put the pole while the maker had to dance. Okay.

After this we were taken back to our ship but we chose to stay in the city and look at it. After lunch at Subway we saw the famous Creek Street and some other buildings but then it was time to board the ship. On the ship I think you know what we heard first.

Washy Washy.

The daily blog of a tourist visiting the USA: Day 4 Cruise to Alaska

The daily blog of a tourist visiting the USA: Day 4

Today we were at sea as we were travelling to Alaska which was far away from Seattle by boat and we pretty much had the day to ourselves. We played lots of BINGO and even went swimming. However the pools were filled with salt water so that didn’t go well. We did a lot of stuff on board like trivia about airplanes and a goofy golf challenge in one of the lounges! So the day went well and we spent a lot of time doing everything. It was a lot of fun. The next day we docked at Ketchikan and began our tour of Alaska.

The daily blog of a tourist visiting the USA: Day 3 Cruise to Alaska

The daily blog of a tourist visiting the USA: Day 3
Today we were going on our cruise to Alaska. After a quick breakfast we left for my aunt's house to drop off some suitcases. We had an hour so we stayed there and spent some time. She showed us this cool robot called Roomba which could clean up her house while she was at work. It would clean areas by vacuuming and brushing up the unwanted dust. She also had something called Alexa. It was developed by Amazon. You could ask her any question and she would answer. She would play music when asked and could do many things. But soon we had to go and leave for the next part of our trip.

We were going on a cruise to Alaska and some parts of Canada with the Norwegian Cruise Line aboard the Norwegian Jewel. Since Seattle is where many of their cruises start, they had a full building for themselves and the operation of getting the keys went very smoothly. We had to go through some complicated procedures before we were allowed to board the ship. But finally by 2:30 we were sitting in our staterooms. The staterooms were so cool. When you entered it would look like a two bedroom room but there was another bed that would open up like a train bed. As I was about to jump on the bed, the fire alarm went off. Okay. Amazing welcome. We weren't even at sea and there was a fire. <Slow sarcastic clapping>

We got out of our room and there was a man who was asking us to look at our key cards. On our key cards there was a letter and we had to assemble at our stations. And after sometime you could hear the guy saying we were going to be safe. The power rangers had come. Yeah! We were safe!
Okay. False alarm. Fire drill. Bummer.

After the whole hullabaloo we searched for a place to eat and were told the Garden Cafe. Straight after food we began exploring the ship and at 6 it set sail. This ship was so awesome. Here are something's that were on the ship-

Card room stocked with cards and family board games
Library with book take out and return.
Two swimming pools and a slide + six hot tubs
Different cuisines in different restaurants
A theatre with different plays and movies that houses about 800 people.
Three ping pong tables
Three shuffleboard decks
A sports deck
A jogging track
BINGO (played four times and once won $150)
Spa
Gym
Casinos
Sadly no WIFI( however somebody had their personal hotspot as 'Tell my WIFI I love her')<snigger, snigger>
And many more things

The ship was huge. It had 15 decks and 20 lifeboats which could hold more than 50 people. It had rations to last long and many more things. The ship could house about 4500 people and had 1081 staff. I still wonder how the ship stayed upright. So every port we stopped on we tripled the population. There was also a carpet that ran through the entire ship. The fish were all facing towards the forward of the ship so if you couldn't find you room you could follow it towards it. The theatre, The Stardust Theatre, had new shows every night. Today they had the show, The Cirque Bijou, which was a type of circus. It had the most death defying acts and acrobats and you wouldn't feel like you're on a ship. It would boggle your mind and amaze you on how they managed to have all of this on a ship.

While exploring I found a plaque that said that Donald Trump's wife, Melania Trump, was the godmother of the ship. And I'm like OH MY GOD!!!! The ships gonna sink! We have to get out of here!!!!!!! (Say that in your best Terminator voice)

After exploring the ship it was time for dinner and no surprise we went to the Garden Cafe, the place that was going to be our home for the next 7 days. These guys were so big on health and sanitation before you enter any food place they would spray your hand with sanitiser. They even had this ridiculous song which they would sing every time you came in. It went something like this-

Washy washy good for you
Good me
Good for us
Washy washy everyday
Makes us happy
(To the tune of London Bridge is falling down')

And they are like ninjas. The next day I went there at 6 am and they jump out of nowhere and are like Washy Washy.
(Imagine you are confronted by a ninja in black who is holding hand sanitiser where his sword should be. I mean, how scary can that get? The thought of them makes me shiver)<silence>(okay maybe I exaggerated a bit. They were very nice people who took their job very seriously and were just helping us out.)(but the thought of the hand sanitiser still makes………. You know what? Forget it)

The day had been long and before you know it we were in bed snoring away.

The daily blog of a tourist visiting the USA: Day 2 Seattle

The daily blog of a tourist visiting the USA
Day 2
The next day I woke up refreshed and rejuvenated. I got ready by having a bath and some breakfast. We were going to the Space Needle and were joined by my uncle. The word 'space' really psyched me up because I am crazy about space. It turns out it was visited by John F. Kennedy (my favourite). Since we were in two cars it was much easier. The Space Needle was completed in 1962 and when it opened the line to get in stretched for 3 miles. It was about 52 storeys high and had never had an accident until then and even when construction was undergo. It has a restaurant which took one full circle in about 47 minutes. It was turned by a tiny motor underneath it. In the visitor section there were a lot facts about the Space Needle.

Did you know
The first diagram for the space needle was drawn on a napkin at a restaurant.

There are 72 huge bolts that support the legs of the monument.

We had to ride a lift up the space needle which went at 10 mph. Somebody had painted a beautiful 3D painting of some spiders on top of a building especially for visitors. On top it was very cold and windy. You could a clear view of Seattle, with the tall buildings and the enormous port. There were many cruise ships docked along with some carriers. You could see Century Links stadium and next to it the Safeco stadium. There was a selfie camera where you have to scan your ticket and it takes a picture of you with the surrounding. Inside there were many screens which gave you different pictures of the place at different times of the day. A camera was mounted below the Needle and you could control with some levers above. It was cool and it was like controlling a missile launcher where you aim, zoom in and lock targets. I even took pictures of Seattle in clockwise direction. Soon it was time to leave and we went next doors to Chilhuly Gardens.

Chihuly  Gardens was right next to the Needle. It was an exhibit of the fine of arts made by a man named Dale Chihuly. They were glass exhibits. He used make glass sculptures. By heating it and using different techniques to get different styles and colours into the glass. He then established a factory and students came and learnt from him and they made different sculptures. However during this process he lost his left eye and dislocated his shoulder but still continued to create such beautiful pieces of art. We saw chandeliers and glass bowls and many different pieces that on their own tells the reader their story. However I didn't understand much of it a and couldn't crack what he was trying to communicate.
I have written a  separate blog for the Museum of Flight and Boeing because I loved the Museum of Flight so much I wanted to write more on it. here is a hyperlink to it: http://gravityfalls03.blogspot.com/2016/06/the-daily-blog-of-tourist-visiting-usa_43.html

After an amazing visit to the the Museum of flight we finished up with going to another amazing place: Chipotle.

After that we split up into two groups. The ladies went shopping while the men went home along with my sister.

When we got home we went straight down to the basement to play Wipeout. We didn't come up until we heard people talking upstairs. We had visitors. Everybody grabbed their Nerf guns and quietly crept up. It turned out to be my aunt. Since she also lived in Seattle she had come to visit us. We had a good pizza party. And when she left we all were put to bed.

Boeing and the Museum of flight

This is a separate blog and an excerpt from my blog: The daily blog of a tourist visiting the USA: Day 2.
I have written this separately because I loved the Museum of Flight so much I wanted to write more on it. So if you haven't read the blog mentioned above, first read that.

This was the Sputnik 1, the first man made satellite sent into orbit. it was a probe and didn't carry astronauts. It was sent by the Soviet Union.

This is the Earth module of a space shuttle. When a space shuttle is entering the Earth's atmosphere it needs a lot of fuel to break through the atmosphere and becomes even hotter. Parts of it fall of after it's used and sometimes it literally breaks apart into smaller pieces. So they made this module to help the astronauts reach Earth safely and not in pieces.
So they would need to sit in this module which would be in the front when they are about to enter the atmosphere. At the right time they would eject and then this would have already crossed the atmosphere and it would fall towards the earth, hopefully to land in water. At the right time the parachute would be ejected and they would safely land.

This is a replica of one of the control panels present in the mission control room. It is an extremely important part of space travel because they help the astronauts in everything from distance and velocity and how to bring back your coffee back into your cup when it floats.

This is the lunar rover that was used in Apollo missions 15-17 for further examination of the moon

This is a space shuttle that brings back people from orbit.

This is the lunar landing module used by Apollo 11. This housed Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong on their trip to the moon. It would be cheaper and faster to just bring the space shuttle down but it would need more boosters to get out of Earths gravity and so more weight and lesser chances for it to reach back to the Earth. So they sent this down to the moon and on its way back when the astronauts were safely in their seats aboard the space shuttle they would leave this in space.

This is a solar powered rover that is used on Mars. It is an all terrain vehicle and can survive on Mars terrain. It has sensors and cameras which monitor things happening on Mars and feeds it back to Earth. Since it is solar powered it doesn't need to be charged with complicated means.

Pioneer 10 was the first space craft to travel through the Asteroid Belt I between Mars and Jupiter. Pioneer 10 is farther from Earth then any other human space craft. It was approved in 1969 and launched on March 3, 1972 aboard the Atlas-Centaur Rocket.

There have been some missions to comets. The NASA-ESA    International Cometary Explorer was the first space craft to fly by a comet. When ICE flew THROUGH THE TAIL OF THE COMET Giacobini-Zinner in 1985 theories confirmed comets to be dirty snowballs.

In 1969 American and Soviet space officials began discussing on the designs of a docking system that would allow spacecraft from both nations to link up in orbit, primarily to rescue crew members in emergencies. In May 1972, the two countries signed a five year agreement for cooperation in space that called for a joint flight to be called the Apollo Soyuz. The soviets launched their Soyuz spacecraft on July 15,1975. The Apollo spacecraft, fitted with the special docking module, was launched 7 hours later and successfully docked with the Soyuz. The crew shared prepared food while people watched them down on Earth. This joint flight, often referred to as 'The Handshake In Space' helped set the stage for future cooperation between then U.S. and the Soviet Union.

This is a part of the ISS (international space station). The ISS has been in space since 1998 and is a very expensive space craft. It is the joint effort of many countries and serves many purposes. Since it is very old things have started to fall apart and become useless. So instead of making a new one they send parts to be replaced. So they send these kind of capsules on rockets and the crew up there controls it and fixes it onto the ISS and leave the other part in space.

They have different capsules on the ship that serve different purposes. This one was probably a quarters for a astronaut. It has many containers that have the handrail clamps and ladders and other stuff that make it reachable and connectable from everywhere.

This is a sleeping area for an astronaut. As there is no gravity in space you are constantly floating around. So in these quarters there is a cap to hold your hair and hooks to attach to you sleeping bags so you don't float around.

This is a treadmill. Your probably wondering why it's on the ceiling. That's because there was no gravity and so actually there was no ceiling or floor!

There was also a Apollo 11 lunar landing module simulator but is crashed. Unfortunately my mom was getting ticked off and so we moved on to the next set of displays.

There was a display of the first Boeing Aircraft. There were TV's and seats and the pilots cockpits were open. There were all the thingamajigs and switches you would find in a plane.

In the Museum of flight there was something call the great galleria where there were models of many Boeing aircrafts. This one is rescue coast guard helicopter which monitored the beaches.

This is a jet plane used by the US army.

As I was hurried out of the space wing there was a simulator that we tried. It taught us why humans couldn’t fly and what factors that were present in a bird so it could fly. After that we had to follow the first bird and bank right and left, dive and do many more things. It was very cool and if you are not doing something right your bird would turn red and you had to correct yourself. After we went even my DAD and GRANDFATHER tried.

While my cousins were doing something else, I went to a very cool simulator.  Over here you could design your own plane and then fly it. In the design area they taught you the importance of every part of the plane and how it contributed to the speed and manoeuvrability. So they gave you three choices of fuselage, wings and something I don’t remember. So you pick out one of each and build your craft. Then you go to a station where you can fly your plane and compete with others.

This is a model of NSAS’s and Boeings future space shuttle. The space shuttle would be designed by Boeing and would be made to face any kind of adversity you could encounter in space. They would design it in a way to make space travel safer and much cheaper.

This is a military helicopter used by the US army. Notice that black stick? That’s a gun. So you just sit there and fire like a madman who’s gotten hold of a gun.

Hello from the sky! This was one of the old jet fighter planes. You had to wear an oxygen mask because you went into high altitude and if your windshield opened you wouldn’t have anything to breathe. They also couldn’t have a machine that generates oxygen all throughout the plane so they had separate oxygen masks. This plane could house two military personnel: one who drove the plane and the other would controlled the missiles and its launching.

These cars are called aero cars. They are cars that could change into an airplane and fly. It’s an old concept but they are trying to develop something like this.

This is the two kids inside a hurricane simulator. They made the wind reach up to 70 miles an hour. Unfortunately when I went in the simulator it didn’t work.

This was one of the first aero planes in the world. But imagine if you were suspended in the air in a plastic bag? It was called the Gossamer Albatross II.

This next one was amazing. I already was amazed by the creation of the first plane of the world made by the Wright Brothers and even made models of it. And now finally I could see a live size one.

This is a model of the one of the first float planes ever used. They can land in water and fly and some can even prop out wheels and land on runways. The perfect vehicle.

One of the first airplanes converted in to the United Airlines that would serve America. As we walked out towards the car we saw the main headquarters and factories of Boeing. This was a learning experience and was one of my best ones. I learnt a lot and enhanced my knowledge on space. I also got most of the answers to my questions over learn.
